Superior Filtration Performance

Although some Büchner funnels are traditionally made from porcelain with a perforated plate for use with filter paper, DWK Life Sciences Pyrex^® and Quickfit^® Büchner funnels are wholly manufactured from Pyrex^® borosilicate glass and feature an integral sintered glass disc. As the sintered discs are made from Pyrex^® borosilicate glass, they are resistant to the majority of corrosive reagents and are unaffected by ammonia, sulphuric acid and other solvents that are damaging to filter paper. Funnels are available in nominal capacities from 30ml to 4000ml with sinter porosities 0 – 5. Quickfit^® Büchner funnels feature an integral ground glass cone on the funnel stem allowing the funnel to easily connected to a Büchner filter flask with the same joint size to give a vacuum tight seal, without having to use rubber bungs or Büchner filter rings.
