How our cylinders measure up

Pyrex^® measuring cylinders and stoppered mixing cylinders are calibrated to either Class A or Class B accuracy. Graduated in white enamel, these cylinders are manufactured from Pyrex^®borosilicate glass and feature a robust hexagonal foot. Class A spouted measuring cylinders and stoppered mixing cylinders can be supplied with either a batch conformity certificate or an individual calibration certificate. Class A spouted cylinders can also be supplied with United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) individual calibration certificates showing the exact volume contained at 5 points on the graduated scale. Pyrex^® Class B heavy duty cylinders are available in tall form and squat form versions. These cylinders contain more glass than standard cylinders, which gives them increased mechanical strength and a longer life. MBL^® measuring and mixing cylinders are calibrated to Class B accuracy and graduated in blue enamel. Azlon^® measuring cylinders have a hexagonal non-slip anti-suction foot and are available in both polymethylpentene (PMP) and polypropylene (PP) polymers with Class A and Class B accuracy and graduated with blue high contrast printed graduations or moulded graduations. Polymethylpentene (PMP) Class A and Class B accuracy cylinders are transparent and suitable for use with a wide range of chemicals and solvents.
