About the Ramboldi^® RBI brand

DWK Life Sciences acquired the popular Ramboldi^® RBI brand of plastic disposable consumables through the group acquisition of WHEATON^® Industries.

Core products within the range include sterile sample collection containers, primary urine tubes, pasteur pipettes and inoculation loops, which are sold in convenient case quantities with inner packs for ease of distribution for customers. Cases on full pallets can also be purchased for customers requiring large volumes to help reduce continuous transportation.

Products are used extensively throughout the clinical market but additionally non-labelled sample collection containers are ideal for the media preparation packaging sector as an alternative to glass.

Ramboldi^®consumables are manufactured to a very high consistent quality from virgin polystyrene and polypropylene with the sample collection containers being CE marked, complying to In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices 98/79/EC and Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.

Urine luck with the Ramboldi^® RBI Primary Urine Tubes!

Is your laboratory looking to move from 30ml universals to primary urine tubes?Then look no further than the Ramboldi^® range. These 16 x 100mm round bottom tubes fit directly onto the analyser racks of all major urinalysis systems for immediate analysis, saving valuable decanting time in the lab. The tubes are supplied with or without boric acid, sterile and CE Marked in accordance with In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices 98/79/EC. A collection cup is also supplied for the patient’s comfort during sample collection, and for the easy transfer of the sample to the tube. Available in bulk cases of 450 with inner bags of 50, or individually wrapped in cases of 70. Manufactured from virgin polystyrene the tubes have a capacity of 11ml and are fitted with a leak-proof screw cap for ease of transportation and storage of the sample. Spare caps can also be purchased for re-sealing the sample after analysis.
